April Brown & Sibusiso Moyo

July 1, 2016

In 2012, Falls Church, Virginia, residents April and Sibusiso were dining separately at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., when a casual “Hello” turned into hours of chatting. Later that evening, the smitten pair continued their conversation at another area hot spot. Three years later, Sibusiso, a native of  Zimbabwe, gifted April a trip to Jamaica for her birthday and, while there, asked her to be his wife. This summer, the pair swapped vows and celebrated with family members and friends at the Daniel Island Club here in April’s hometown. The jet-setters capped the festivities with a cool-weather honeymoon in Canada.
