Camille & Tom | Wild Dunes Resort

Snowmass, Colorado, residents Camille and Tom met at a small group dinner following her first day of work at a new company. They were just friends until 2015 before noticing how much they enjoyed spending time with one another. After some cozying up, the two realized they attended the same elementary school for a year. (Tom’s family had moved to Michigan for a year, where Camille was born.) It really is a small world after all, isn’t it? Fast-forward to September 2017 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where Camille had spent many a summer growing up. Tom set up a private lighthouse tour at Camille’s all time childhood-favorite beach; when they got to the top, overlooking the water, Tom asked Camille to be his wife. These guys made their way down South this past June for their destination wedding at Wild Dunes Resort. In these uber cute and fun photos by Allison Hanson, you can spot Camille’s “something blue”—an anklet belonging to her grandmother—and Camille pushing her worries aside with some Fireball to the rescue. Once the ceremony started, there was nothing to fear. Camille’s dad was cracking jokes the whole walk down the aisle to keep either of them from crying. But in the end, the father-daughter dance brought tears to everyone’s eyes, including our bride and her number one guy. To keep the night going, the crew moved the party to the pool deck and Tom’s mom jumped into the pool in her formal wear… naturally, everyone followed suit (suit!). Cheers to the newlyweds.
