Mount Pleasant native Caroline met Ryan during a freshman-year math class at the University of South Carolina, and after graduating in 2008, they moved to the Lowcountry together. In March 2015, Ryan proposed during an Isla Mujeres sunset while the two were on vacation. This June, Caroline donned her grandmother’s vintage 1949 Italian lace veil when the couple wed at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
