After meeting through mutual friends in college, Meaghan and Chris dated for four years, including six months long-distance when Chris moved to St. Louis and Meaghan relocated to Dallas following graduation. In June 2014, Chris popped the question at a thoroughbred farm in Kentucky, and the couple celebrated with family at the spring races at Churchill Downs the following day.
