After meeting through mutual friends in college, Meaghan and Chris dated for four years, including six months long-distance when Chris moved to St. Louis and Meaghan relocated to Dallas following graduation. In June 2014, Chris popped the question at a thoroughbred farm in Kentucky, and the couple celebrated with family at the spring races at Churchill Downs the following day. The James Island residents wed at the Legare Waring House before honeymooning in Antigua.
