Been wondering why go the extra mile for a bridal portrait shoot? While the tradition began in Southern Europe, at a time when affluent families would hire an artist to paint the picture, we’ve come...
In the summer of 2013 when Illinois native David and Melissa, who hails from Rhode Island, worked at neighboring Holy City restaurants, David kept a close eye on his workplace’s window. “I always thought it was just a coincidence,” laughs Melissa, “but he would come outside whenever he saw me.” David’s smooth moves paid off, and more than two years after the pair began dating, they exchanged vows at Coleman Hall and Chapel alongside their families, closest friends, and nine-month-old son, Oliver. Afterward, the West Ashley residents celebrated with a reception at The Bower at Edmund’s Oast.
