Three years after Emily and Mo met at the College of Charleston, the Columbia, South Carolina, residents returned to the Holy City for a weekend stay at The Palmer Home bed and breakfast. Though Emily assumed it was a birthday celebration—Mo’s was that weekend and hers was two weeks later—her beau had other plans.
