Erin & Andrew | Boone Hall Plantation

We’re kicking off this four-day week with an ever-so glamorous wedding filled with southern hospitality, sequins, and more florals than a girl could ever dream of. Seriously. Erin and Andrew met one night at a football bar in Washington, D.C., where they locked eyes across the room and exchanged numbers. Three years later, they made the move to the Big Apple where Andrew planned a romantic pre-Halloween night filled with treats (we aren’t just talking about the candy), festive movies, and a casual stroll through Central Park. Little did Erin know that their spooky night would end with Andrew popping the “big” question. It was an easy decision when the duo chose Boone Hall Plantation for their Big Day venue; the breathtaking wonders of nature, the spectacular scenery, and iconic rustic buildings … it’s right out of a fairy-tale. The soft and tasteful blush and white palette by Ooh! Events meshed perfectly with the enchanting greenery all over the walls. And hold the phone. We can’t move on until we gush about Erin’s insanely unique and stylish gown with 3-D silk flowers and sheer sleeves. And the coolest part of it all, it was the lightest shade of pink.  She looked the part of a total princess and we are all about it. The fashionista-slash-bride still wanted to tie in white with the bridalwear somehow, so she had her bridesmaids all pick out different dresses in that hue, or lack thereof. It’s always so fun seeing a non-traditional theme come to life. And as for how the new Mrs. felt about her day … “I don’t remember anyone else being there except Andrew and myself,” she says. “I just felt a total sense of calm. We were married, and it was time to party!” Amen, sista. Amen.
