Erin & Steve | The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island



OK. So these two New Yorkers are kind of a big deal (she’s a VP at a hedge fund group and former account head at the Olgivy agency with an MBA and he’s a marketing director at a Big Apple firm and was once doing the same for Bob Vila—look it up, you Millennials, you!) But what we love about Erin and Steve’s wedding is that its center it simply stars just another in-love dressed up duo mushing out on each other … albeit in their case that’s at one heck of a streamlined celebration. Let us break down what we heart from their Big Day on Kiawah Island, which was so expertly styled by Fox Events.

Those bridesmaid dresses. Mix and match, florals, solids, and pretty, pretty pastels.

That wedding cake. We mean really. How does Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal get that intricate in his designs while still slaying us with his flavor?

Their initial sculptures. How freakin’ chic are those?!

The swings in the reception tent. Because of course you need swings at your party.

Those towering florals in their towering crystal vases. Ah! To be able to see across your well-dressed table!

But most of all? His reaction at their first look. That’s the reason we do what we do, people. To share that kinda love.
