Ellie and Jack crossed paths while standing in line one day at the Old Village Bakery in Mount Pleasant. They began dating and four years later, Jack took Ellie for a birthday picnic on Bulls Island, where he asked for her hand. The two were married by a family member at Oak Pointe Plantation on John’s Island and live in Charleston.
