Karen & Andrew | Engagement Session

One of the nicest comments one can ever receive may be, “You have a beautiful smile.” Welp, for Karen and Andrew, we reckon they can say that to each other on the daily. Why? These two met in dental school (connection making sense now? And just look at their photos by The Happy Bloom. Both have great teeth!) back in 2012 and after meeting at a school social event, began a friendship that quickly blossomed into l-o-v-e. After years of dating and no doubt, studying, Andrew proposed to Tennessee native Karen in probably the cutest way possible. Karen noticed a tiny boxer puppy tied to a post near the sand dunes on Pawley’s Island and immediately ran up to greet him. Andrew quickly followed and asked her what the dog’s name was. Karen peered down at the pup’s name tag and lo and behold, it was engraved with “Will You Marry Me?” Sigh. Karen said yes, they named the doggie Mimosa, and haven’t looked back since. The pair will wed this coming October at Karen’s dream venue, The William Aiken House. If their engagement photos are any indication of how charming their nuptials will be, it is going to be off the charts.
