Lela Rose Styled Shoot | Kate McDonald Bridal

Designer Lela Rose has a saying we can all toast to: “Nothing says chic like matching your drink to your dress.” Fashion stylist Lindsey Nowak took that as a challenge, linked arms with Reagan Barnes of Events by Reagan, looped in photographer Julie Livingston, and called up Jim at Wedding Cakes by Jim Smeal, enlisting one and all to create a bridal gathering fashioned around a sweet white dress from Pearl by Lela Rose—the style maven’s new ready-to-wear line. “How can you turn down a challenge like that?” laughs Reagan. The end result: this sweet and simple tabletop, ideal for an intimate tea to fete a bride-to-be. And that drink to match the dress? You’re looking at cups of chamomile bourbon tea.
