Lindsey & Andrew | The Gadsden House

You know we’d only share a gorgeous wedding with you. So we’ll pause on the descriptors of this couple’s Big Day for a moment and tell you a little about the pair themselves, because when photographer Dana Cubbage says they are “two of the nicest people I have ever met,” we gotta hear more. For her part, Lindsey is a fourth-grade teacher at the same school she graduated from (Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach), and where her mom once worked. Said one student to his mother of the newlywed: “She never gets mad when I fidget with stuff on my desk as long as I’m paying attention. She is, like, the nicest, calmest teacher ever. Seriously, Mom!” Talk about a ringing endorsement. And Andrew? He graduated from Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach and went on to study biology and teaching at The Citadel. Today, he is a science teacher in his old stomping grounds and yes, he’s volunteered to help kids with learning disabilities and he participated in the Zucker Family School of Education Mentor Program, but what really had us all melty? He’s proud to post photos proclaiming Lindsey is his best friend-slash-favorite face-mask partner in crime (that shot has them both all gooped up and him sporting a headband); he has trekked to WildFlour Pastry here in Charleston to get his sweetheart the vegan birthday cake of her dreams; and he sprang a surprise proposal on a trip (they are big travelers) and had a photog there to snap it all. We could go on about these two, but how about we just wish them congratulations for finding one another and spreading their goodness all around? Enjoy the look at their Gadsden House wedding dressed to the nines by the super talented Bouquets and Bowties and the vlog (click here) of their honeymoon in Hawaii!
