Lockwood Murphy Jr. & Sarah Kenney

December 5, 2015

South Carolina natives Sarah and Lockwood met as aspiring physical therapists at MUSC. The pair quickly became friends, and an official first date at a Gamecocks football game in 2009 proved they shared deeper feelings for one another. The couple stayed together over the next five years through classes, graduation, and Lockwood’s battle with leukemia, and in December of 2014, he proposed to Sarah at White Point Garden. The following year, the couple married at the French Huguenot Church and celebrated a few blocks away at No. 5 Faber. They live downtown.
