Maddie & Jackson | Magnolia Plantation and Gardens

Although high school sweethearts Maddie and Jackson may not be evenly matched on the athletic field (the pair’s first encounter involved Maddie whipping Jackson’s tail in a game of volleyball) they are, without a doubt, a match for each other when it comes to the love department. The Virginia natives dated for six years after that on-court meeting and grew their family from two to three with the birth of their darling little girl, Collins. We mean … how stinkin’ cute is this angel in her tiny white dress? When the time came for Jackson to bend the knee (GOT reference, we had to), he walked Collins and her momma down to the beach where the gals were greeted by a gorgeous array of petals sprinkled on the sand. He asked, she said yes, and the pair went about planning their nuptials at Magnolia Plantation. “We bought a fixer-upper house and decided to put our money into that instead of a wedding,” says Maddie as to why they opted for a small, intimate, oh-so lovely guest count of twenty. The end result for their little Big Day? A tree dripping in pastel florals, precious moments captured of the fam by The Happy Bloom, and scrumptious hand-painted macarons as guests favors. As for what’s next for the tribe? Says Maddie, “Finishing our house, working on my Master’s, and chasing our little girl around.” Sounds like a wonderful life to us!
