Mary & Cole | Boone Hall Plantation

A Boone Hall Plantation wedding was always the dream for Mary and Cole, and after a surprise proposal under the avenue of oaks at said location, it all made sense. (Psst! We featured these guys’ super trendy and romantic e-sesh on the blog last August). Now we get to take a peek into their seriously stunning wedding day … I mean, check out the images by Anne Rhett Photography. They’re (the couple and the images) legit.

Cultures Collide

Mary has always been into the European style of doing things (look at her uber cute Euro-inspired outfit in their engagement session), so when planner, Abby from Events by Reagan, and florist, Megan of Vero Designs, came together, they created a Tuscan-themed environment, with potted herbs, organic flowers and greenery, and an asymmetrical fireplace install for one romantic evening.

All about Personality

When it came to picking a wedding gown, Mary tells us, “I told myself while searching for a gown is that I had to feel 100% like myself and this dress definitely fit my personality! I’ve always been into “Old Hollywood’ looks so I think that definitely played into my dress choice.” And that stunner getaway dress? It was on standby so Mary could dance the night away. The duo skipped the cake and went for mini desserts instead. “The dessert bar really felt like an extension of us, and our guests could just grab it and go to continue the party!”

Family Matters

The laughs and smiles between the bride and her dad? Totally genuine. Mary and her dad love to dance, and you can catch them on the dance floor at any wedding. She says, “We always have so much fun together and our dance was just such a representation of our relationship.” And those little tots sprinkled throughout the ceremony? All are nieces and nephews who made the day extra special.
