High school sweethearts Nicholas, a medical engineering student, and Caroline, a prepress artist, met at Wando High and eventually headed off to Clemson together for college. In December 2016, after a five-and-a-half-year courtship, Nicholas proposed to Caroline on the Pitt Street Bridge in Mount Pleasant‘s Old Village. The couple married at East Cooper Baptist Church and received guests riverside at Quarters K in North Charleston. Nicholas and Caroline still call Clemson home.
