Thanks to alphabetical order, Hannah and Ryan sat side-by-side in two classes their freshman year of high school in Virginia. The couple began dating their junior year, and, six years later, Ryan—a U.S. Naval officer—rounded up their families and proposed to Hannah at her mother’s home on Lake Murray, South Carolina. The Texas residents married and held a reception at Rose Hill Plantation House in Bluffton.
