Sara & Collin | Lowndes Grove Plantation

Happy Friday, brides! Do you remember these two? To trigger your memory, here’s a link to when we posted Sara and Colin ’cycle-centric engagement photos by shutterbugs Aaron and Jillian. Well, now it’s time for a whoop-whoop of congrats because the D.C. residents can officially call themselves newlyweds. We’re loving all the tips-of-the-hats to their shared love of travel throughout the reception at Lowndes Grove Plantation. From airline ticket-styled seating cards and global themed table names to late-night snacks served in Chinese takeout boxes, the ideas are manifold. “I grew up in Singapore and Collin and I love to travel,” Sara tells us. “Our tables were named after our favorite places that we have traveled to together–Tokyo, Bali, and Bangkok–along with places we consider home such as Singapore, D.C., and Virginia.” Here’s to many more years of traveling together, including anniversaries here in the Holy City.
