Styled Shoot | Boone Hall Plantation

We don’t know about you, but these past few days of shorts weather have had us daydreaming about summer. Brandy McGhie, owner of local luxury event planning company Classic Planning & Design Co., was in the same boat when she dreamed up this summer-inspired styled shoot. Citrus fruits, shades of pink, pops of prints, and the classic backdrop of Boone Hall Plantation all come together as an ode to longer days and warmer temperatures. As for the tablescapes, Brandy claims you never go wrong when you add a printed napkin. “When I couldn’t find the exact color and print in a napkin that I loved,” she tells us, “I picked a fabric I loved instead and made my own napkins!” (We’ll be sure to tuck that bit of info away for future reference.) And does anything scream “summer” more than a margarita truck? Brides-to-be: Take a peek at this shoot if you want to bring a little heat to your own Big Day.
