Styled Shoot | Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

We love it when neighbors from “Off” come to Charleston with a fresh look at some of our favorite old stomping grounds to give brides ideas anew. That’s what we’re showcasing today, thanks to Danielle Cartwright of Atlanta-based Detailed I Do’s and the out-of-town crew she brought here to bring a truly sweet mock reception to life at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens. The setup, Danielle says, was inspired by “the colors seen at Rainbow Row, as well as by spring hues.” And as for the chemistry between the models—you can’t fake that! Meet Paula Rallis, former editor in chief of The Scout Guide and current Insta influencer and blogger extraordinaire (@PaulaRallis and PaulaRallis.com), and her real-life house-renovating hubbie, Ron. (For those following closely, they are acting the parts of bride “Annalis” and groom “Calvin,” according to the mocked up wedding invitations.) Have fun reveling in all the gorgeousness everyone cooked up and playing spring for a minute amidst this chilly weather of late.
