A Soulful Love | A pair of college sweethearts exchange vows in the Holy City with a perfectly pared down celebration at McCrady's Restaurant

McCrady's Restaurant

Charlotte, North Carolina, residents Britt Taylor and Preston Stanford connected at a fraternity-sorority social while juniors at East Carolina University and dated two years before Preston proposed in fairytale fashion at the Biltmore Estate. Two years post-proposal, the duo found themselves in the Holy City for a perfectly pared down celebration at McCrady’s Restaurant. Ask us our favorite parts and it’s a draw between their table for two marked with its golden “Mr. & Mrs.” sign and DeClare Cakes’ naked cake creation, which sported the cutest gold scripted “We do” topper. After a few slices of cake and one playlist later, guests scurried outside with Marissa Joy as she captured the newlyweds’ glittering sparkler escape into the city’s darkened streets for the next chapter in their romance.
