North Carolinians Amanda Rosa and Ruben Ocampo had their heart set on wedding at Boone Hall Plantation, so when a weekend unexpectedly opened up at the sought-after venue, they pounced even though it was only three months away. “I knew I needed help putting everything together,” says Amanda, who partnered up with Stephanie Cisko of Viva L’Event to streamline the day-of décor around turquoise (the couple’s favorite color). Stephanie suggested adding shades of white and peach along with gold accents. “I always work the style of the bride’s dress and location into the wedding colors,” she explains. The plantation’s gardens provided a stunning backdrop for the couple’s vows, while its rustic Cotton Dock made their reception feel casual. “We absolutely loved every part of our wedding!” says Amanda.
