When your great aunt owns Black River Plantation, the home featured in “The Notebook,” your wedding location is practically chosen for you. So was the case with Juliet Johnston. Armed with a “Liberty Blue” bridesmaid dress from J. Crew, she asked event designer Calder Clark of Blue Moon Events to find a secondary wedding color that would prove just as inspiring. As soon as Calder eyed the Georgetown, South Carolina, home’s yellow and white striped hallways, the day’s lively palette—lemon and Liberty Blue—was set.
