Secret Admirers | Fate stepped in to bring a Mount Pleasant pair together at the altar

Founders Hall at Charlestowne Landing

When a matchmaking coworker set up Roper St. Francis employees Seth and Crystal in 2012, she had no idea they had been admiring each other from afar for years. “She was more beautiful than any woman I had ever laid eyes on,” Seth recalls about the first time he walked by then-stranger Crystal’s office in 2010. And Crystal? She had first swooned over Seth when she attended a conference at which he spoke. During a vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico two years later, Seth dropped to one knee and proposed.

For their Big Day, the Mount Pleasant couple envisioned a peaceful, spiritual, and romantic celebration with their nearest and dearest. Planned and designed by Ashley Wenz of Boutique Planning, the event flowed seamlessly from a sun-kissed outdoor ceremony to a beautiful indoor reception where textured garden roses, lavender-hued sweet peas, and organic greenery by Sara York Grimshaw Designs softened the contemporary lines of the setting and created a romantic vibe that the newlyweds so desired. Before sitting down to courses from Cru Catering, Crystal and Seth stole away with Ava Moore for portraits against the stunning Lowcountry backdrop that Charlestowne Landing has to offer. Can you feel the love?
