Want to look taller, more svelte, and proportional in a jiffy? Don a V-neck. While we’ve long embraced Vs for blouses, bridal wear is celebrating the idea like never before. “V-neck gowns work well on so many body types,” says Terri Espy of Gown Boutique of Charleston, who carries Wtoo’s “Pallas” gown at right. “For a petite bride, this neckline is very elongating and flattering, and on a taller bride the V (and straps) bring the eye up to her face.” One tip? Opt for sewn-in cups for discreet support.
