The Power of Flowers

Megan came to Annie Mueller of A New Leaf Studio with two words in mind: classic and elegant. “We wanted to have a timeless wedding but also wanted the day to reflect our personal style,” says Megan. To stay true to those guidelines, Annie chose a simple palette of various shades of green—Megan’s favorite color—and white. With a guest list spanning state lines, Megan and Michael, who live in Virginia, chose Charleston’s French Huguenot Church and the Francis Marion Hotel’s Colonial Ballroom for their nuptials after vacationing in the Lowcountry many times. “We hoped for romance, fun, and a beautiful setting,” says Megan. “We found all three in Charleston.”
