Jennie & Greg | The Cedar Room

What are the two most important aspects in dating, you ask? Well, for today’s couple, Jennie and Greg, it just so happen to be timing and family. The pair met when they were neighbors in New York City, Jennie just moving into her sister’s apartment. “I definitely thought he was cute,” says Jennie, “but I wasn’t too interested in dating someone that shared a wall with me.” Well, it sounds like someone was interested because nine years later, Greg popped the question during one of their evening runs along the Hudson River (they’d been officially dating for about a year). Jennie, on to Greg’s plan as he was training for the NYC marathon and their runs together had become less frequent, made sure to get a quick manicure after work, you know, just in case. After an exuberant “Yes!” from well-prepared Jennie, Greg surprised her again by whisking her away for a celebratory weekend trip to The Hamptons (umm, yes, please!) with her family. As for the wedding? The Georgia natives chose the swanky The Cedar Room and it was truly a family affair. With Jennie’s brother officiating, all of their sweet nieces and nephews walking down the aisle, and both of their sisters acting as “maid and wo-man of honor,” it was certainly a reception to remember. And how can we not give a shoutout to Jennie’s sister’s stunning earrings?Just as sparkling and unique as this Big Day was. Let’s raise a glass to perfect timing, love, and happiness all around for this new couple. Cheers, lovebirds!
