Brett and Nina met through a mutual friend while at East Carolina University. Four and a half years later (and after a move to the Lowcountry), Brett asked her to marry him during a walk on Sullivan’s Island with their puppy, Charlie. The couple exchanged vows at Middleton Place and were the first to host a reception in the new “green” pavilion on the site. As you can see from his tie and her bouquet, ECU purple dominated the day’s palette.
