Like an office romance deserving of its own sitcom, a smitten Abigail would print off blank sheets of paper just to catch a glimpse of Grant, or find any excuse to talk to him. She had caught his eye, too, and five months later the couple shared their first kiss on New Year’s at the corner of King and Ann streets—where Grant would propose three years later.
