Amanda Lamoureux & Matt Cassatta

November 24, 2018
Office acquaintances turned friends (they met while working the same account at an ad agency), Amanda and Matt made the leap into romance by sharing their first kiss atop the Empire State Building when they left a work party together at 1 a.m. and the landmark happened to be open. Five years later, Matt proposed on their couch with a YouTube video he’d made for her (it mimicked their favorite web series, “True Facts”). They booked a wedding at Lowndes Grove, but had to reschedule when Hurricane Florence blew in. The second take was closer to Thanksgiving, and, says the bride, “We were absolutely humbled by all of our friends and family who reworked their schedules to join us.” It was, by her own description, “perfect.”
