When former University of South Carolina football player Andrew saw Carley sporting a vintage Carolina sweater across the bar, he felt an instant connection. The couple spent the next several years bonding over great food, which continued after the couple moved to Andrew’s hometown of Charleston. During a trip to New York City, Andrew proposed in a friend’s Upper West Side apartment filled with flowers and candles.
