Anthony, owner of local barbecue joint Swig & Swine, was smitten by Southside 17 waitress Meghan the moment he saw her, later saying she gave him “the best service in a restaurant I ever received.” Following an adventurous two-year courtship, Anthony popped the question after hiding the ring among charms Meghan uses to make earrings. The pair were wed by Meghan’s mother during an intimate ceremony at their West Ashley home, with Meghan’s daughter as their only guest. Afterward, they hosted a huge party in the yard complete with a DJ, 22-foot inflatable water slide, and, of course, catering from Swig & Swine.
