A mutual friend introduced Ashley and Jonathan between classes at Charleston School of the Arts, and four months later, the couple went on their first date at downtown’s Monza Pizza Bar. Throughout their nine years of dating, the pair enjoyed multiple trips to Disney World. One visit included a magical surprise when Jonathan got down on one knee in the rose garden near Cinderella’s Castle. Ashley and Jonathan continued their fairytale with a wedding at First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant. They held a reception at the Daniel Island Club, complete with a Disney-themed wedding cake.
