After serving his country and moving to North Carolina, James and Ashley met on a dating website. Throughout their courtship, James showed constant love and support as Ashley’s mother was battling cancer, which made her fall in love with his kind heart even more. During a surprise trip to Ashley’s family beach house in Atlantic Beach, NC, James got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to be his wife.
