Following a fateful night of bowling and salsa dancing, Charleston transplant Ben, a marketing director, told his friends he’d met his future wife, nurse practitioner Ashley. The couple spent many months traveling together and celebrating the holidays with their families. During a 2023 trip to Cincinnati, Ashley’s hometown, Ben proposed on a rooftop, complete with rose petals and romantic music.
