After meeting at a fraternity mountain weekend, Bailey and Matt quickly became inseparable. Both living in Charleston, they were together for nine years before tying the knot. Matt proposed to Bailey on his boat on the open water, and afterwards, their friends and families were waiting to throw a surprise celebration on a secluded island Matt used to visit with his father as a child. The couple said ”I do” beneath the moss-draped “Wedding Tree” at the Legare Waring House and held their reception along the Avenue of Oaks.
