Benjamin Crane & Chase Richardson

May 22, 2021

After matching on Bumble, South Carolina natives Chase and Ben had their first date snagging tacos and margaritas at a hip Chicago restaurant. The pair bonded over their Palmetto State roots, where Ben was born and raised and Chase spent her childhood visiting her grandparents at Kiawah. Following five years of dating, Ben proposed on the waterfront of Lake Michigan, after which a trolley full of friends, family, and champagne pulled up to celebrate. In 2019, the two moved back to the South, making a new home together on James Island. The pair chose Lowcountry estate Lowndes Grove for their wedding and reception, celebrating with loved ones.
