That cross-pollinating led to Cameron (acquaintance of the coworker) and Laura chatting the night away until hours later, they ended up at the Lincoln Memorial. A few years later, the two, who had moved to Charleston, headed back to the capital’s historic site, where Cameron proposed. They exchanged vows at The Gadsden House.
