Following a serendipitous encounter at a nightclub in Charlotte, North Carolina, Chance and Stephanie dated for two and a half years before moving to Charleston together. While on a trip with friends to Moab, Utah, to visit Arches National Park, Chance proposed with the desert landscape as a backdrop. One month before their nuptials at Harborside East, the couple buried a bottle of Bourbon in the Southern tradition of warding off wedding day rain showers; their efforts paid off with clear skies.
