During their senior year of high school, Christina and Rhodes worked together at Chick-Fil-A in Richmond, Virginia. Flirting behind the counter soon led to a five-year courtship that lasted through numerous moves and transitions. In February of 2017, Christina relocated to Mount Pleasant to finally live in the same city as Rhodes, who couldn’t wait any longer to pop the question. He proposed at Breach Inlet just one day after her arrival in the Lowcountry, and the wedding took place a year later with a ceremony and reception at the Creek Club at I’On. The couple still resides in Mount Pleasant.
