Morph Clothing founder Cristy was invited to be a guest on the Charleston-based GSD Entrepreneur podcast, when she was introduced to the host’s brother, Clay. The two discovered a mutual love of wine and faith in God, developing a long-distance relationship until Clay moved from Park City, Utah, to the Lowcountry. In September 2021, a fire destroyed the Mount Pleasant home the pair shared with their three children, forcing them to postpone their wedding. Despite Hurricane Nicole hitting the same day as their rescheduled nuptials, the venue moved to the Safe Harbor Bristol clubhouse, where the couple finally said their “I dos.”
