Registered nurse Kristi met future husband Connor, an engineer, when they were students at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, the two eventually adopting a dog and moving into a home in Mount Pleasant. After dinner at The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s Island in March 2021, Connor took Kristi to the beach to pop the question during golden hour. A year later the two would return to the sand nearby for their wedding, officiated by the friend who introduced them in college. Guests were greeted with Southern barbecue and Firefly vodka cocktails during a reception at The Citadel Beach Club.
