Registered nurse Kristi met future husband Connor, an engineer, when they were students at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, the two eventually adopting a dog and moving into a home in Mount Pleasant. After dinner at The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s Island in March 2021, Connor took Kristi to the beach to pop the question during golden hour. A year later the two would return to the sand nearby for their wedding, officiated by the friend who introduced them in college.
