The luck of the Irish was in Molly Darcy’s Irish Pub, where Corey worked, the night Lindsay walked in just after she had moved to Charleston from Annapolis, Maryland. Five months into their courtship the pair were cohabitating, and it didn’t take long to realize that their story was meant to last. One weekend five years later, Corey’s parents were in town and the group “happened” to walk by the Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park. There, under the ruse of posing for a photo, “Corey mumbled some beautiful and adorable words and proposed,” gushes Lindsay. They invited loved ones to join them at The Historic Rice Mill for an al fresco ceremony (with “flower boys” as they are rich with nephews but starving for nieces) and indoor reception. “We knew we wanted something on the water and the gem fell into our lap,” says the beaming bride. “It gave the perfect ambiance of historic Charleston.”
