Although Maggie hails from the Lowcountry and Darryl is from New York, when an online dating site brought them together in Manhattan in 2013, their similarities outweighed their differences. Four years later, a blizzard forced them to escape to Miami Beach, where Darryl got down on one knee in the sand. One year later, the two wed at St. Luke’s Chapel in downtown Charleston before receiving guests at Marion’s in the French Quarter. They now live in Hoboken, New Jersey.
