Lindsay, an orthodontist and Charleston native, met Daven, a Spartanburg-area restaurateur, through the dating service Tawkify. After dating for four and a half months, Daven proposed to Lindsay in a vineyard on Mount Etna while on vacation in Sicily. Their wedding was held at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, with a ceremony in The Sanctuary Chapel officiated by both of their fathers. A cocktail hour was hosted on the Grand Lawn, with a reception featuring dinner and dancing in the Terrace Ballroom.
