Cara and David began their senior year at Washington College in Maryland as neighbors and graduated as best friends. After three years in a long-distance relationship, Cara followed David, a firefighter with the St. Andrews Fire Department, to the Holy City. Six months later, David proposed at Morris Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve.
