Deja Knight and Robert Edward McMillan III

June 14, 2020

Trey and Deja met at a Citadel football game in 2017, just as both were going out on their own to start new businesses. Trey launched Lowcountry Oyster Company, and Deja started Pearl Public Relations, making even the names of their businesses a connecting point. Trey planned to propose on Christmas Day 2019, but once he picked up the ring, he could not wait and got down on one knee in their downtown home. The two were wed underneath an oak tree in Trey’s mother’s backyard in the Old Village with close friends and family present. A reception followed downtown at Vintage Lounge.
