Dena, a freelance writer and publicist, and Drew, a chef at The Sanctuary Hotel’s Jasmine Porch, encountered one another on eharmony and had their first date at Kudu Coffee. Almost a year later, Dena came home to find Drew proposing on one knee with the help of their dog, Charlie Brown, dressed in a tuxedo and top hat. They held their boho-chic wedding at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina’s harborside pier. Later, guests danced the night away under the cafe lights at the reception beneath the pavilion.
